Hello, I've just found your board. I am a life-long 1/72 painter. But I had about a 20 year break - now I'm doing a few here and there. I've been making custom Lego and Mega Bloks figures the last few years, and just rediscovered my left over pile of tiny soldiers. My painting skills are not what they could be, so I'm here to learn!

Welcome Paul! And that's a nice first post here!

For the grassy tuffs you need some static grass and white (wood) glue.
- Add some glue on the place where you want the grass
- Put the static grass on it
- Tap of what isn't in contact with the glue
- Final blow over the grass
For higher grass you can use the hairs of old paintbrushes and drybrush them
