Plasticsoldier review has now included fantasy sets

Posted by Howlin on 01 Jun 2022, 02:17

Just thought I would share that many Dark alliance fantasy sets can now be easily seen with a short review from PlasticSoldierreview.com

I had always had trouble finding good pictures of some of them, and are quite nice, though I am not myself going into the Tolkien world. Also has some mythology sets.
now sure why they have not made a ring bearers set yet. or one for wizards and villains.

Very nice! I jumped there at once! And the best site (except Benno's of course) on the Internet have managed to get even better!

I also like the fact that PSR included the fantasy sets, which are looked after by so many hobbyists.

I do hope they start doing other models like tanks, and ships, and castles.

Also I don't know why, but I really wish they would allow users to post pictures of painted minis for each set.

I think this it not the idea of PSR. Therefore we have this forum for example. :yeah:

well on some sets they use painted minis for representation, it would be nice to have an index of user submissions. I know they will not do it, but that site has been so helpful to my collection

A great initiative, I was spending hours googling for them to see how they really are (the Dark Alliance box pictures are so dark you can hardly see them!).

Some of them can be more historical than really historical figures!

I love the PSR website. In fact, this is my advice guide to decide whether or not to buy any new set that comes on the market, not so much because of the comments that are made but because of the photos of its content that are included.

I also use it to find the most suitable figures for the conversions I make.

Surely we all have suggestions to improve some aspect of their website, but for me, as a user of 20mm plastic figures, it's a luxury to have a website as good as this one at our disposal. :notworthy:

Greetings to all of you and also to PSR staff, along with my thanks. :-D

Santi.

The incredible thing is it's thoroughness. The good thing about 1/72 is that it is still possible to cover all the subject in it's entirety, although now is getting vast and challenging.

Sadly, many of my other hobbies are not covered so well, such as 1/32 and 1/35 soldiers, or action figures, or even diecast cars.
