Blitz 72 - Pre-Painted WWII US & German Figures coming

Posted by MichToySoldier on 23 Jul 2013, 23:28

Blitz 72, known for 1/72nd scale World War II armor models has re-emerged as a manufacturer of 1/72nd scale, pre-painted plastic figures Blitz 72's plastic figure sets are perfect companions not only to Blitz 72 models, but also to Hobby Master, Dragon, Panzerstahl, War Master, Easy Model, and other brands of 1/72 World War II German and U.S. vehicles. They're even pre-painted so that, like the vehicles they're designed to accompany, setup and display is as easy as opening the package. These figures should have endless possibilities for use. You can find these in the Upcoming section of our website.

Thank you very much for the informationand I shall include these sets in my website list,

However, these are painted Caesar figs, mostly from the Panzer Crew set, but also some mixtures from other sets, including the first and second sets on WWII Germans made by Caesar, namely German Infantry in Late War uniforms and with Winter Gear.... ;-) (which by the way, the first boxes of these sets I bought when I have the great pleasure to visit your store in Royal Oak, some years ago.... :-D )

Anyway, the painting looks good, much better than the FoV or Caesar's pre-painted figs....

Thanks for the info. Didn't realize these were Caesar. Perhaps Caesar cut a deal with Blitz to manufacture under the Blitz name.

Caesar seems to be selling or lending their molds out lately. First the "new" Heller sets that turned out to be mostly Caesar copies, and now this. I hope Caesar is not in financial trouble.

If it means more new sets by working the old Caesar masters or its im tools to death -fine by me. Airfix and its followers did with their sets.

This all goes to prove lightning (blitz) does strike in the same place.

If egg plants don't sell then fancy pack them as aubergines seems to be the ploy.
