Dear Franznap,
first of all it is a great idea how to look for someone who will present finally your figures and stuff in a Dio.
Beside that till today I paint not a single napolion time figure, the time frame (2 month for the winner) is very short in my opinion.
To realise a good Dio with all these nice figures and stuff is time-consuming.
As an example. To select the position of a figure, to deburring it, prime it, painting, wash, dry brushing
I need about one to one and a halv hours. The very rarely reached maximum of figures is 4 to 5 a day. With interruptions the whole day! Standard is 1 or 2. In a week is about 6 -10 figures. With all that ground work, a Bridge in half, water etc ...
What I have learnd with this hobby is, spend time for it is a good work. Spend more time for it is a much nicer work.

Finally it is a great pleasure from your side to offer for everyone to particitate these contest with his skill.

Hi everybody, the WINNER IS Michel
He will win the complete series, but we have also 2 participants which for their courage and heroism to enter the competition , will win a reduced one (the sets excluded carriages). Peter and Mr. Cryns you are the ones.
BUT THE AGREEMENT IS THAT YOU TWO WILL MAKE A DIO AND IF BENNO AGREES HE WILL LAUNCH A DUEL . THE WINNER WILL HAVE THE PONTONNIERS SET.
(please send me your address via email to info@franznap.com)
Please note that the sets are in production phase and it will take some technical time in order to receive them.

First of all congrats to Michel for the win! I'm sure he will make an excellent diorama!

Francesco, thank you and I accept the challenge of a duel with Mr Cryns. This can be very interesting because both of us didn't paint much Napoleonic figures the latest time. If Mr. Cryns accept the challenge I will inform Remco about the duel. In the mean time I will send you an e-mail as asked!

Michel, my congratulations to you for winning this Franznap competition!

It is less disappointing for me to be one of the 'loosers' knowing the winner is so talented, skilled and polite as you are! I wish you good luck with your first entry into the Napoleonic era and look forward to see the development and results of your work.

Franznap you made a good choice I think. And thanks for your new offer.
It is very difficult to understand what you are trying to say with this:

Do you mean both of us 'will' win or 'can' win?
And do you mean dio or just a painted figure like in all duels on this forum?

Peter wrote: I accept the challenge of a duel with Mr Cryns. This can be very interesting because both of us didn't paint much Napoleonic figures the latest time. If Mr. Cryns accept the challenge

O yes Peter, I will accept this challenge, as long as it will be only one painted figure against one other so I don't have to lay down my other activities down for several weeks. And then it will be Neerpelt against Son en Breugel, just like in the old days when we were schoolboys.

I like your enthousiasm in this... but euh... how can you vote in an objective way when you already know who will be the two participants?

He can't! That 's why you start with +1, because he Always votes against me! :joker:

About your other concern. I think Francesco want us to make a diorama with the figures he will be sending us. So not one single figure for the duel! I've sended an e-mail with the question if there's a time limit. Let's wait and see, he's making the rules for this duel. ;-)

Very easy... I see no major problem there. I just would give my vote to work that I like better (and I don't like Peter at all  )
