Posted by Taipeh on 02 Sep 2016, 07:42

We are pleased to announce our new series:
Second Siege of Vienna 1683 - The Turk Wars . In this range we will bring 3 armies:
1. The Imperial Army of emperor Leopold I.
2. The Polish Army of King Sobieski
3. The Turk Army under Kara Mustafa
On the other side this figure could be used for several other Scenario like battle of Ofen, battle of Belgrad etc.
At the ISCC in Heiden, 10th September we offer the first sets of the Imperial Army, and for the CRISIS in Antwerp, 5th November we will offer the first 14 sets of the Imperial Army + some sets of Polish Army.
We try to widen this range as soon as possible, so each one who is interested in this period could build up opposite armies.
The range will be from interest for the Diorama builder, but also for wargamer. The pike and Lances of Pikenier, Winged Hussar etc. are the steal Lances from Warlord Games we could get for our production.
Here the first available sets:

The figures look excellent...Now only to see Turkish figures...Can we have a spoiler about which Turkish units will be represented...Will there be any Askers or it will be only Janissaries?

I am very excited to reed this news and see these models.
Especially the Austrian-German figures.
With exception of two Mars sets of very fat fellows depicting French and Spanish, this era of the second Vienna Siege, Louis XIV, d' Artagnan and the Dutch&English Naval Wars was never covered as far as I know. It was always a big gap in 1/72mm figures.

Thanks for filling this gap!
