NEW: Hagen British Peninsular Infantry

Posted by pietjepuk on 08 Sep 2016, 11:30

Hi guys,

I am a huge fan of häts British infantry for the Peninsular war (in my opinion one of their best sets). But I had two "problems": I missed some variation in the marching poses and the uniform was too nice.

So I ordered a set of British Line fusiliers in ragged/campaign dress.

Then, as I could need some more Light infantry, I ordered a set of 43th light infantry skirmishing.

I hope you like both sets. In my opinion Massimo (Daikalgan) did an excellent job.

Many regards,

Pieter

Thanks for the tip, Pieter.

I didn't know about these figures, but having bought a set of Massimo's Spanish cavalry, I can say that I'm a fan of his sculpting. I think I might just have to buy a few of these myself (or gently hint to family members, as my birthday is coming up soon ;-) )

Hi Rosbif

This is just the start of the expansion of the Peninsular War topic. Tony (who ordered the Spanish cavalry), another member, ordered some Portuguese line infantry and cazadores, which are already available (http://www.hagen-miniatures.de/index.ph ... y/view/265).
Then Massimo also finished the masters for the Portuguese foot artillery and more Portuguese sets are due this year. And all masters will be made by Massimo.

So your friends and family will have a lot of choice this year.

Cheers

Pieter

The posted links don't seem to work for me. Are there any command figures available? Never enough flag bearers.
