Strelets news 2020 - 2024

According to Strelets and various retailers, it seems that despite the current difficulties, a number of new sets will be released now.

The 7 sets are:
242 - WSS French Guards Musketeers
259 - WSS Dutch Cuirassiers
268 - WSS German States Cuirassiers in Skirmish
273 - Napoleonic Bavarian Infantry Firing Line
283 - 1745 Jacobites' Artillery
284 - 1745 British Artillery (Jacobite Rebellion)
289 - Napoleonic Russian Jägers in Winter Dress

Strelets seem to be releasing 2 sets in February regardless of the continuing bad situation in Eastern Ukraine. Sadly, no preview pictures so far.

Retailers began selling the 2 new sets this week.
Unfortunately, still no really reliable images of the figures' actual appearance at the moment, instead some blurred pictures of the original masters.

We have seen these before but it would be helpful to know how the final figures turned out.
We may even have to wait for a PSR (p)review, but it may take some time since the UK market is being supplied with some delays in recent years...

Wow, PSR have got their act together and the newly available Strelets sets are already featured in the Awaiting Review section.
As already anticipated, the moulding quality unfortunately seems to suffer from the war conditions in eastern Ukraine (flash on 286 figures).
Overall, beautifully sculpted figures in appropriate poses.
