A good and peaceful day for all
This last post shows us to what extent and nonsense the “politically correct” of these modern times can go.
That quotation for the image could be a satyr from Monty Python, but no, there are really self-righteous people that believe this is the way to do things in this world.
25 mm figures, can be toys, they can be works of art in the hands of some members of this forum, but they are NEVER a political or social statement.
If you collect and paint miniatures that portray violent actions, either historic or fictional that does not means that you are violent in nature or posture.
The fact that bloody battles take place every week on my table top with hundreds of dead and injured (25mm figures, not people) does not mean that I am violent in nature, Having seen the effects of war in real life makes me a very peaceful and peace loving guy, but on the table top I’m murderous for the “enemy’s” 25mm soldiers.
The history old and new is full of violence injustice and death. Portraying the old events of history will surely have some form of violence portrayed.
The good thing is that you do not have to agree with it, nor even see it. Just close the post if you do not like it.
What is acceptable and correct is mostly a personnel point of view. If you don ot like it just do not see it.
Best regards
Mário
