I got completely confused when trying to work out which combination of possible sets when writing the above post. I came up with a possible number of 77 which is Close to PSR´s number for the Norman camp set, which on the boxart also says 72 but PSR has written 76.
If it is the Saxons before battle set that would be a shame, they are as you say, readily availble and I´ve got two sets already
...and the cavalry? If it is (hopefully) new bod sculpts (I´m sceptical) then the same old nags?
Thing is..The Norman army camp set, the 4 legged add up to 22, no problems
The bods?
2 x Normans on the March =24
1 x Norman Train =10 =34
1 set Norman cav on the march =12= 46
which leaves 26 other poses...so either PSR has counted every single human figure (which makes 27 without the Baby*) or each Group as a single pose (which makes 20) neither which adds up to 72 or 76. It would be odd for PSR to Count each actual pose (the ones sitting on the log Count as 3?)..they normally Count double poses as one . 45 poses but one is a double so really 46
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=321or poses can include such things as tables (there are 17 pieces in the set but only 15 are of humans (16 if the double is counted as two humans)
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=2160but sometimes include doubles as single poses
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=2420or Count doubles and children as single poses
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=773even as far as I can tell babes in arms*
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=1843but ignore babes in arms in others
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=2208If Babes are included..there´s 28 poses in the norman Train "Special sprue"..74 poses in total?
The real number then is dependant on wether double and triple poses are counted as one or two´s and threes or women with babes are counted
which in this set ..there are either 13 poses or counting the child being carried 14 .
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=2085or this set..everybody, babe in arms and children are counted as one pose...
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=2085The number of poses at PSR seems to be dependant on what constitutes an "individual" pose or a human figure??
