O boy, finally! They changed several things concept wise, but I'm glad about it now.

Good to see that Hät is going to start producing new sets after a long break. Those are really fine.

Gern geschehen Thomas.
More than enough backpacks for so few figures on a sprue.

They look very good, and seem to be in step with one another.
However i wish they would produce plastic figures in this scale. BB

Mmh. After all these years of development, I'm not that satisfied with the results I see.
Perhaps it's only the picture quality, but the figures look as if they've got a lot of extra plastic on them.
Given the experience with that rubberish plastic stuff HAT used for the Prussian sets, removing all that s* could become a nightmare of a job. :-x

Plus: it's that sh**ty double-piece drum again! Same as with the Prussians, that darn thing never fits a 100 percent and therefore looks somewhat odd.

Such language!!! I've been struggling with the double piece drum on the British command set. Removing the mold lines is pointless on some figures as you are just as likely to remove some of the molded details as well so I feel your pain on both accounts. Good news is that there is already a single cast drummer in the French infantry set. Bad news is that he is advancing with the drum thrown over his shoulder and onto his back. A better pose for light infantry I suppose.
