AWI: NEW US Infantry in Hunting Shirts available

Posted by Photoro Man on 06 Sep 2016, 11:23

Hey everybody,

Hagen Miniatures has recently designed new American Continental Infantry in HUNTING SHIRTS!

I don´t know how to upload the pictures on Benno´s , so I have included the:

http://historyin172.blogspot.de/2016/09 ... -time.html

For those who do not know Hagen´s system. It´s a project privately paid by collectors who want to have figures cast for their own collection (mostly those Figures that don´t / won´t come out in plastics). The collector gets the Lead Soldiers then DIRT CHEAP (he had paid the making of the masters before) and a certain amount of the money that comes in through HAGEN MINIATURES comes back to the collector ( who could even order a new project being sculpted then).

I thought to have some grenadiers being sculpted in 4-5 poses in ADVANCE MODE, as well as 4-5 in Shouldered Arms more.

What does the community think?

Yours, Photoro Man

Technically you can't upload photos here. You can only post image links from some image hosting services. It is pretty much as on the other forums:

I like em, some kneeling firing, loading etc would be nice.

Hi,

nearly all of them are in a loading process - according to the manual of the late 18th century. Just two are firing. Kneeling would not be a position any unit would havr fired from as a line unit. Only militia, from cover, would have.
- But you are welcome to add positions of your choice :-)

No work at all required. Just paint them and enjoy :-)
There are ideas that other heads / head gear (such as leather caskets / militia round huts) could improve the look.
