Your English is good enough

And your remark on that gun, that it's a smokegun, is a good one. Makes me look at it in an other way  A smokegun is suiteble in this set up ;-)

A flaregun is I think the English word for it. And a very good point too. Because who would fire a pistol into the air? Or maybe this is Zvedza's revenge for every other set of Russian infantry having the officer firing his gun into the air? :-D

Thanks for clearing this out Chris (a flaregun) I keep it in mind ;-)

Now, who will shoot first a duck out of the air? The Russians or the Germans?

These are very nice staff sets!
Finally a Russian radio team too. (Better than the old Esci woman)
Good for artillery battery or mortar group imo.

It's a Leuchtpistole (Pistolet Lance-Fusées; Flare Gun). This is its first appearance in 1/72 german plastic soldiers. You will see it again in the new Wat1815 issue: "ww2 German cavalry set #1".

these are action photo of the real one; site is GB/FR language:

Awesome stuff -=panzer=- 8) , do we know a release date for this. Also does anyone know what is to be released by Zvezda this month in terms of a 8000 box, i know psr has 8077 slated for summer but official confirmation would nice. Would also be very interested where people get Zvezda CAD renders for the 8000 series, Yarik has one of the german box set but havent seen any for the Soviets.

Please note the Russian motorcycle is 1/35th scale not 1/72nd scale.

The Zvezda R12 looks like a BMW R12 whereas the Italeri one looks like a BMW R75. To be fair they are two different BMW types so a direct comparison is not possible. BTW -The Russian M72 is like the BMW R75 but actually based on the BMW R71.

For a R12 it looks very good but the spokes look better on the Italeri model. The forks, engine etc are far superior on the Zvezda model. The rider on the Zvezda m/c should have had rolled up sleeves (like the box art) or the standard motorcycle coat- this uniform is a bit amorphous as if for a parade. The machine gunner/sidecar passenger looks OK but the motor cyclist looks awkward - he looks as if he is getting ready to do a handstand on the handlebars. Plenty of videos on Youtube to show riding positions on combos. I think this is one instance where computer generated images need a bit of help.

Hopefully these are the masters für the big box of German infantry. The marching figure looks really nice, like the ones from Preiser. I esspecially like non-combat poses, as these are most useful for dioramas.

Yes, it is my mistake. Images are removed.
Hopefully these are the masters für the big box of German infantry.
I am not a expert in german, but ,imho, it is not a 1943 infantry, it is early war infantry.
