ModelCompetition on Facebook - 1/72

Hello to all

Just want to give the news on a model competition in a closed group in facebook. The group is new and if you are not part of it just ask and we will add you. We have now an ongoing Modelcompetition in 1/72.

MODELSTEP MODELISMO group, launches the challenge of recreating the scale 1 / 72 Artillery unit "Royal Horse Artillery."

The challenge is to paint the unit, from the soldiers, cannons, limbers, ammunition wagons, mobile Forge, Alternate Car Wheels, Grocery wagons, among others.

This challenge will have a period of three months, participants must register by 1 December 2011.

Will be distributed to all participants with a manual paint schemes and cannons, limbers, ammunition wagons, mobile Forge, Alternate Car Wheels, Grocery wagons, among others.

Awards

1st Place - GEM Award - a voucher for 50% discount on purchases over 25 euros on products purchased directly to GEM.

2nd Place - MODELSTEP prize - a book in digital format on the Royal Horse Artillery.

3rd Place - SEPTIMUS SIGNUM prize - set of 10 digital prints of soldiers of the Napoleonic Wars.

REGULATION

1. The figures and other elements have to be 1 / 72 scale;
2. Three months is the deadline to complete the set according to table the manual;
3. Participants should send photos to the group that set evolution to its conclusion;
4. The manual will be issued to participants upon registration;
5. Registration is free, write to send your email, name and country;
6. At the end of three months each participant must submit 10 to 20 photos of the collection to conduct polls.
7. The votes will be conducted on Facebook, like most who have won the contest;
8. The evaluation criteria are:
Quality of Painting;
Historical accuracy;
Creativity;
9. All the figures and the remaining elements should be placed on a base or a diorama;
10. Participants are free to add other elements to the collection.

I do not use facebook and I am not planning to :roll:. But Could you maybe tell, inform or show me/us (those of us not on facebook) the results? ;-)

Sure, no problem.
The reason it's on facebook is because the group is based there and there is a very easy and transparent way to vote in a competition. You submit like and can only submit one like per photo so is very easy going.
