Vepa Miniatures - Lebanon 1982 and Irak 2012

Posted by dutchboyinohio on 06 Sep 2012, 04:16

Vepa Miniatures (http://www.vepaminiatures.com) is a new manufacturer of lead figures in 1/72 scale. So far they have figures for Lebanon (1982; IDF, Lebanese, Syrian) and Irak (2012; US infantry). I don't know about the accuracy of the figures or how they match up sizewise with other figs, but the detail looks good.

Future figures may include (per their website)
Some new ones include the soon available russians in chechnya 1996, more modern americans and iraquis, yugoslavian civil war, spanish civil war, modern IDF & hizbullah... and others

Make sure to also take a look at this thread on Missing Lynx (http://www.network54.com/Forum/47210/th ... +available), because it explains the company is so new that they cannot take orders via their website yet, even though it looks like they can. The thread also has some nice close-up pics.

Not my cup of tea, but always good to see a new company pop up!!

Hi, I'm Ivan Velilla, from Vepaminiatures.com, (sorry if my english is not very good)

We have begun in this new adventure making miniatures and we have a lot of things to learn from everyone of you.

The scale of the miniatures is a 100% 1/72, We wanted to make them with a very high quality, and also with multicomponent parts, so you can mount them with different weapons, making a great variety of miniatures.

We have also a new brand of miniatures representing rebels, you can see them in our webpage.

We'll attach here some pictures from our miniatures. We are still also learning to make good pictures  , so you will see a lot of changes in our webpage during these weeks.

I anounce also that I'm making a quick game with these miniatures, very soon I will finisht the spanish version, afterwards i'll make the english one (with a good translator from england :-D ).

If you have something to say me just send a mail to ivelilla@hotmail.com

(I don't know how to attach here our new miniatures painted by Angel Giraldez, but in a few days you will see them in his webpage studiogiraldez.blogspot.com)
