2nd attempt after this site timed out without warning maybe that's why most people do anyway
The cross on the webbing straps connects with buckles on the waist belt and the position and spacing of these is about right on the model. Jedburgh was a joint SOE/OSS operation so the choice of equipment was usually based on fitness for purpose and US and British equipment was evident on all operatives. Most would have a pistol so the webbing equipment was more likely to be the version for the pistol and ammo pouch but again could be US (esp the Colt 1911 .45 automatic) or British. Not sure of this figure's role in the 3 man team but it is likely he may be an observer/leader so he would have binoculars. From a re enactor site this would be the likely or typical composition:
1. Team leader: Captain, Major, or Lt Col
2. 2/ic / Radio Op: 2ND Lieut., Lieut., Captain, Major, S/Sgt or Sgt
3. Linguist / Radio Op: Foreign National, Officer or SNCO Worth checking but I would have thought they would have had Stens ( or the quite common US para M1 carbines) rather than Thompsons. The beret could be worn in many different ways as each team usually had a national of the country they were to operate in and there were Belgian and French elements of the SAS. The radio would be a para dropped B2.
The figure seems to have too much hair. The rule would be keep it under the cap or beret (the rules were relaxed but not to that extent) and again French, Dutch etc operatives may have had moustaches. The scarf should continue round the nape of the neck as it looks a bit bare - more so if/when he loses that hair.
I think I remembered most of it second time round.
