Typical, just when I've started work on the Strelets version of the Jacobites.

They look very nice figures.

Well spotted MABO. I could have missed these

Pity about the cavalry and artillery, kinda renders the foot redundant. :(

They look like rather nice sculpts, but shouldn't the British coat-tails be substantially longer? It's one of the more noticeable differences between the uniform of the '45 and that of the AWI...

Wow, very interesting. Looks like mid 18th century finally is going to get better covered in plastic, now that these redbox sets are coming and with the Hät 7YW sets next in line to be released.

I was just thinking the other day that I almost feel "finished" with collecting in my usual big eras WWII and GNW and what I'll try next. The 7YW (and WAS) sounds like good wars to portray in miniature...

Yes spot on they should extend to just above the knee. The waistcoat should be longer as well.
Also the universality of sporrans /purses on all the kilted soldiers doesn't square with the 1742 Cloathing Book

The Militia set has some figures that look as if they could double as Rogers Rangers raher than the Spencer Tracey ones.

These new redbox offerings look top notch, but will need to see someone do a close up with a sprue in hand. Redbox flash tend to be a pretty big problem but i like what i am seeing with the sculpts.

Interesting topic, but that´s typical for plastic minis....covering a whole army in 10-12 poses. No shooting pose with the British, no Lochaber axes, pikes and sword and round-shield-charging poses on the Jacobite side. OK, I was thinking at the battle of Culloden....nevertheless nice figs.
