Minairons: 20mm SCW Republican Infantry Released

Posted by Lluis of Minairons on 15 Nov 2013, 20:42

The first sets of our 20mm SCW Republican infantry have already started coming out from foundry.

Image

As stated in our previous announcements, this our first 20GEF001 Republican Infantry set consists of 15 white-metal figures (13 infantrymen and two NCOs), all in different poses. Some in charging attitude with fixed bayonet, others skirmishing or cautiously advancing. NCOs are armed with Labora-Fontbernat SMGs, privates with Moisin-Nagants rifles.

Set has been conceived as to show a reasonably good uniformity, accordingly to both Republican regulations and mid-late war graphic evidence. Far from the variegated, sketchy appearance too often attributed to Republican Regular forces. There is some uniform variation indeed, but it has been limited to in-quarter overalls (or "mono"). Same for headgear too: although some Trubia and Czech helmets can be seen, Adrian helmets are majority.

Sold by the 15 figures box, priced at €15.95 the box. They can already be ordered direct from our website; or alternatively, you can ask for them from any of the shops/distributors listed on this webpage.

Lluís
