A strange found in Italy

While we were on our hobby-tour in Italy we visited a very nice figure-museum (will post some photos on my blog) where I found a very strange set of 1/72 figures. Something like a late medieval football-game.

Most of the players are half naked and I already thought about conversion ideas, while some others have a kind of uniform which could be useful for an Italian army in the 16th century too.

It is the "Calcio Storico Fiorentino", a Renaissance version of football/soccer, very rude still played today. The fully dressed are the participants to the Historical parade and are dressed in the colors of the Four "quarters" (Rioni). The half naked are the actual players. More on the official website:
