As long as they're size compatible (and the sculpting/moulding works out!) they'll make great additions to the DDS figures. Looking forward to them! :)

It's a Russian website, but shows pics of the pikemen.

Hey Zirrian,

hehe I was asking myself the same question. hmmm maybe some heads. But their overall appearance is more fitting for the early part of the 16th century till about 1550. Maybe for the early French Wars of Religion with some modifications. But the fashion changed towards the later half of 16th century and after 1600 as did the weapons.

A friend of mine will find a good use for them I guess. When I showed him these pics, he was pretty hyped :)

Nice figures. It seem that Red Box learned from the criticism of the past. Interesting is that the seem to expand their 30YW range as it is a much wanted range. Especially as apart from some metal versions their are no figures on the market. O.K. you can use the English Civil War models from Call to Arms.

There's over a hundred years between the landsknechts and the 30YW, that would be like having napoleonic red coats fighting in the trenches of WW1. Although some of the costume terms are the same - the styles of the clothes are very different.

The Peasants War, the Holy Roman Empires fights against the Swiss, Pavia. There is plenty to use the Redbox Landsknechts for and I for one intend to use them, so looking forwards to getting my paws on these guys.
