Spielwarenmesse Nürnberg 2015, Nuremberg Toy Fair

Posted by Erich von Manstein on 28 Jan 2015, 19:20

I guess we all hope for some interisting news from this years Spielwarenmesse.
Although we already know the 2015 Zvezda catalogue, we will see some more announcements from other manufacturers as well.

What are your expectations? Some wild speculations are great fun imho.
I for one really hope to see Italeri & Emhar coming back to 1/72 with some fresh sets!
The asian companies Model Collect, Toxso, Flyhawk Model, Aoshima & S-Model could surprise us with some more unexpected kits again. :winky:

Didn't find much so far. Just some already mentioned stuff:

ICM
Mercedes-Benz W 31 staff car G4 (new kit)

Revell
„200 years Battle of Waterloo“ (mixed battle set, re-releases)
modern German Fallschirmjäger (re-release)

Spähpanzer 2 Luchs (re-release)

Last day of this years toy fair today.
Upcoming 1/72 plastic kits I've detected while looking for fair- & hobby-news:

Mirage:
Armoured Car "Kubus", Warsaw Uprising '44

Heller:
Tiger I (late version)
New tooling! There was quite some online-talk about this freshly announced kit during the last few days. If Heller will keep their future 1/72 branch up to the very high standards they showed with their recent Shermans, we could possibly end up with the "ultimate" Tiger I in our scale.

Armory:
PzKpfw. VII Löwe (leicht), german super-heavy WWII / '46 tank
SA-22 Greyhound / Pantsir-S1, modern russian mobile aa weapon system
T-10 M, soviet heavy cold war tank
ZIS-5, soviet WWII truck

We all know that Zvezda reduced the number of announced 1/72 sets drastically a few weeks ago.
Italeri will re-release a few dozen of their oop 1/72 figures, afvs, buildings & accessoires.
Sadly no or only little news from the most promising companies so far:
Pegasus, Preiser, Caesar, Master Box, Model Collect, Toxso, Flyhawk Model, Aoshima, IBG, Maco, MK 72, Dragon, HobbyBoss, RPM, ...

Anyway, here some links which show heebs of pictures from Spielwarenmesse 2015.

Great mix of nearly all kind of scales & topics. Sometimes a bit heavy on 1/35, but worth a look imho.

Finally a very incomplete list of what we can expect this year.

I'm pretty sure that there will be much more new kits & sets this year. We will see! :-D
