Hmm, maybe I'm thinking of another Ragnar. First wife: Tora Borgarhjort, second wife: Kraka/Aslaug http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aslaug. Both would be a fine addition I think. Ah, he was married thrice! No matter! We need all of them. TV series??? What's that? I'm painting figures!

Quote from wikipedia:
Lagertha was, according to legend, a Viking shieldmaiden from what is now Norway, and the onetime wife of the famous Viking Ragnar Lodbrok. Her tale, as recorded by the chronicler Saxo in the 12th century, may be a reflection of tales about Þorgerðr Hölgabrúðr, a Norse deity.

Her name as recorded by Saxo, Lathgertha, is likely a Latinisation of the Old Norse Hlaðgerðr (Hladgerd).[1] It is frequently rendered in English-language sources as "Lagertha", and has also been recorded as Ladgertha, Ladgerda or similar.
quote ends

so, whatever her name, give us a viking shieldmaiden please... ;-)

Ernest Bognine is beyond adorable. Of course he is the unrivaled and only real "Ragnar" ;)

- A shield maiden is not a bad idea, but as they were extremely rare, they also had to be very "manlike", if you know what i mean. ;) The TV-series Lagertha is physically not able to fight in the shieldwall, but she is
- The figure will be around 3,--€ and production starts soon.
