Can't honestly say I am impressed, in fact though they're nice enough figures they seem to be a step backwards.

Not sure I'll get any. I mainly need marching figures and these have their musket on the wrong shoulder compared to the rest of my figures.

And another thing - a lot of people have a go at Hat, but at least their soldiers march in step.

@Jan, usually, you don't need to have Facebook account to see some of its content.
But this link doesn't work for me as well... I mean it is not related to topic pictures.

For all of you who can't or won't visit Facebook, here are some:

But I won't post all, since there are 39 pictures.

@Paul: Waterloo1815

I think French Infantry is the German WWII Infantry of the Nappytime. I M not quite sure if someone need another set. Even if it is not that bad...

Confusing..combination of Waterloo, 1815, French infantry. It´s obviously too hot here :-)

Speaking as a Napoleonics enthusiast, I would wish for special poses - the Elites, for example, look fine. What's generally missing are charge or melee poses.
What is definitely unnecessary, are more and more marching figures. Especially not, if a set is a mixture of fusiliers and Elites. But what gives me the creeps are those bl*y wrong-shoulder-figures that 1815 produces - they already messed the Prussian infantry set with it. >-(

I compleetly agree, I am new in Nappie era, but I feel, and see the same,
and its really nice sculpting

and just thinking... correct me if I am wrong, I am no expert but..

shouldn't the gaiters stop below the knees, if they wear the bardin uniform?? I am talking about the "fighting poses" - with fringed epaulettes, and sabre/briques ( voltigeurs?, grenadiers?)

Yep and even the knee-high-gaiters-with-breeches were "regulation/parade" with trousers/overalls becoming the predominant fashion for military and civilian life by 1812-15. Some nice sculpting and sorry to be negative but the research is as bad as the old Airfix French Line Infantry Nappies...or Waterloo 1815's "Cromwell's Cavalry" and "Rogers' Rangers" sets :(

Very disappointing as this manufacturer has made some great sets in the past but do suffer from occasional very lazy approach to accuracy.

PS: Their French Line Lancers look wonderful though and about time a decent set of these were released even though HaT's were OK-ish for their time.

I guess the sculptor of Esci does these, just like most of the Waterloo 1815 figs, and the earlier Italeri figs too. Wonder who the guy is, as this is the third Napoleonic French Infantry set he's sculpting. Not bad, I like them, and they'll fit with my existing Italeri Frenchies. For the musket in the wrong arm...a glaring mistake, but more NCOs for us, then.

Can someone kindly post a link to the relevant Facebook page that shows the pictures of the French infantry?
I've spent/wasted half an hour trying to find these pictures.

Thanks.

For me it depends do I buy figures if cross belt on chess is good enough to be good painted...I really was disappointed with Zvezda French voultigeurs since their belt is in same level with uniform...

It looks like they've pulled it from FB. I left a comment about the marching poses and it's no longer on my timeline.

Well I`ve been on the Official Waterloo1815 Facebook page and I couldn`t see any new French Infantry news or figures posted there. I`ll try a Gallery on line, and try to flush them out. If any of you guys have pictures why not post them on the Forum or place a Link! BB

rifles on the left to the figures marching
and other small details
