Good news from Redbox

Posted by sansovino on 12 Oct 2015, 11:46

Redbox has published recently some new, quite fascinating sets.

I am impressed, but I am asking me only why they have produced english and turkish sailors instead of spanish or italian sailors which have fought against each other more frequently.

Does anybody know where I can bought turkish ships of this period in 1:72?

With other horses I would also be very tempted, but I know that I will never make anything with them so in this case I save the money.

I am impressed that the company is so active. But I am wondering why they seem to change the modeller?
Their "War of the Roses"-range was far better. The horses first of all. The new ones fall back behind the early Strelets Carolingian cavalry.

Very nice figures, I know what Janissaries were, what were Osman Eyalet? And how did they relate to the Eyalet administrative districts?

SAMURAI ARTILLERY! Finally something more Samurai related! Hopefully we'll see samurai cavalry and infantry too, at least two sets for each. I've yet to collect the rest of their Feudal Japanese range, but even tho they're really chunky, I like them.

Wow, I was waiting for them. And I really hope that these are made by the "old" modeller from the other War of the roses sets...
