It seem`s Disney got cold wet feet, and pulled out of producing the Black Pearl Pirate Ship. So Zvezda took it on and made minor detail changes, and it became the Black Swan. However i`m sure that the Revell Kit , The White Swan is the same model ship. These are 24 Gun Frigates with great detail, but short of crew. I`m thinking of buying one for the Collection, but not for construction porposes.BB

I love sail ships but I never made one. I started to love them when I was playing Pirates video game on my Commodore 64 some 25-30 years ago. Last winter I bought 2 boxes. Bounty and Victory from Revell but I never started to build them. Most probably they will wait for me to retire :D

Hi BB, those look like nice kits, I have recently completed Airfix's 1/180 HMS Victory which I did as a commission for a friend, I forgot how much I enjoyed making model sailing ships ( the last one I did would have been about 25 years ago ) I enjoyed it so much that my wife got me Hellers 1/100 scale version of the Victory which is huge & has 2200 parts. I am resisting starting it until I have cleared all my unfinished work.

That news is Fantastic blucher.
HMS VICTORY, a 104 Gun Ship.So that 1/100 version makes it to be 15mm Scale.
Can a W I P, possibly last 80 odd years? BB
