i wonder if these are conans cimmerians.

these dont look like conans kin,nor do they look like bronze age cimmerians.
i wonder if cimmerians refers to something else,maybe in russian.
in any case they are on my list to get.

It could be my mistake with the pics. I hope so, and they are something else, Kothians or a "evil army " perhaps.
I´ve seen pics announced elsewhere as the amazons.. lions and unicorns as Mounts ..but the rider shown isn´t in any of the sets (?) I cannot see the Point of making the lions and unicorns (or the rider) and then not releasing them..IMHO, a waste of a dammned good idea. Maybe they will be released as elf cavalry ...I hope :-D

The figures in Paul's second photo are indeed supposed to be Conan-esque barbarians. I don't have the link, but there's an older vk post where the manufacturer discusses it, the idea being to give their Amazons something to fight. I agree, they look more like chaos warriors than barbarians, but that's fine.

PS: I'm guessing Paul's first photo is one of the "Modern Amazons." "Modern" might be a subtle way of saying "not pre-feminist cheesecake," to distinguish them from their first Amazon sets, which were, let's say, impracticlly dressed for the most part.
