The nags are the same ones as Norman Knights, Military Order Sergeants and the Norman Cavalry on the March (have I forgotten any?)
They seem to like re-using the nags..like todays Review over at PSR, they really shouldn´t be suprised as to why one of the nags has a chamfron...(plate armour on the forehead)
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/review.aspx?id=1663
Same nags as in the Turkish Seljukes Cavalry, Turcopoles, Arab Cavalry, Bashi-Bazouks, Mamelukes and the exact same poses but with a bit less decoration as the Dacian Cavalry (again, have I forgotten any?)

Anyway, It´s a nice set. I´ve just finished painting it (with some small alterations and I used different nags from other sets and makes)
I´ve Just got to get some pics taken.

I´m still researching to see what type of normans dressed like that, and so far I´ve found absolutely nothing.!!! The Walking stick is possible but He´s wearing what Looks like a 17th Cent waistcoat and a longsleeved overcoat.!! And that hat and beard Combo ..Santa Claus!?
Did the Normans even know about santa Claus?? What were strelets thinking ? :eh:

Squeeky the pig is a big un...and those muts!! They are big!! Strap a saddle on em and theyéd be ok in the Grand national ! The hawk is a wee bit on the big side as well..a couple of strudy flaps of it wings and the guy Holding it won´t Need his horse.
great Little set though..the females a the best in the set..even if one is taking her riding lessons a bit less seriously than she should.

Paul, I think it's bonus figure of Russian strelets - they put some of them as a bonus into different sets of different eras.

My idea is,this.
Peter, the rich and generous fellow member that he is. "He he!"
Begs,Buys or Steals the box and takes out the Strelet bonus figure and pass the rest onto someone else who has interest a plenty in having them.
Those interested members names are put into a bucket ,and shaken up.
Now Benno, can fill the bucket ( :cowboy: " With BB on each one of course!")
Remco,shakes them all up,
and Benno`s Girl Friend can pick out one name.
:-D Mine!
:-D "Well i never thought it could possibly happen,
i`ve actually won a something."
:sst: " I`mm,is that fair?" BB

Like the set, but being realistic I don't think I'll get time to paint it for years. So if someone wants that Santa Claus from me, sorry. He looks good, though! And when I first looked at PSR there were horses to this set, they removed the pics soon.

The nags. You get this set (norman cav on the march) once and an extra sprue of the same nag poses so there´s 3 copies of the same nag sprue in the box set.
