Zvezda 2017 Catalog

Posted by MikeRC97 on 16 Nov 2016, 01:17

The Zvezda Hobby vk.com page has the Zvezda 2017 catalog pdf (Russian) for download in the documents section:

https://vk.com/zvezdamodels

There are only two new 1/72 Art of Tactic sets listed, both are the HQ units that were previously only included in the Battle of Moscow box game 6261. You can see pics of both units on this page (both the German and Soviet units have scissor binoculars)

https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1248303/battle-moscow-review-zvezdas-latest-ww2-installmen

The two new sets are numbered 6231 (Soviet) and 6232 (German).

So same pattern as 2016, two 1/72 small sets that were previously exclusive to a box game. Not surprising at all but disappointing all the same.

The Art of Tactic Kursk box game (6233) that appeared in the 2016 catalog (but remains unreleased) is listed again and there's a new box game (6235), I can't read Russian but based on the picture it is the Battle of Berlin. The most recent 1/100 kits are late war, I'm guessing they will be included in the latter set. I'm hoping there might be some new exclusive 1/72 figures in either box game that we might see sold separately in another year but not likely.

Thanks for the link Mike. :yeah:

Their 2017 catalogue shows some new 1/72 kits as well.
An older link:
https://psv4.vk.me/c810125/u49818189/do ... JILJGCRaZg

5023 - Sd.Kfz. 182 Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B "Tiger II" (still not released)
5028 - 9K720 "Iskander", modern russian mobile ballistic missile system
5042 - Sd.Kfz. 173 Jagdpanzer V "Jagdpanther", WWII german tank destroyer
5046 - BMPT "Terminator", modern russian tank support AFV
5054 - ISU-122 , WWII soviet tank destroyer/assault gun

All kits are in "snap fit" style.

This and the two AoT figure sets already mentioned, keeps me hoping that Zvezda hasn't given up their fantastic 1/72 line completely...

Their recently released SU-100 tank destroyer looks promising btw.

I'm afraid to open it because of less and less large figure sets every year :(

Thanks for sharing another link. :yeah:

Btw, Zvezda announced on their FB-site that they'll release two of their upcoming 1/72 kits in december already.
So, the ISU-122 and BMPT "Terminator" will hit the shelves before christmas. :-D

ZVEDA,
They gave up producing large figure sets long ago. :(

I bought a few 1/72 scale German Anti Aircraft Guns for my trains, and a few 15mm Tanks.

They lost trade world wide producing suicide packs of 6 figures or less.
They had the Top Spot on the Market Place, and ruled like a Zar,
;-) but then just gave it away by not producing what model painters wanted____Figures on Mass! BB
