I saw this picture on the Strelets pages yesterday but I was waiting to see pictures of the masters. But if they look like the marching ones, it could become another great set! ;-)

I think it will be so. In my oppinion Strelets is actually the leading company concerning Plastic Soldiers in our scale.

Yeah, Strelets have taken the lead in 1/72 figures-production some years before already.
One reason is the ongoing absence of the former leading manufacturers. Namely Revell, Italeri & Zvezda.
Another obvious reason is that the questionable output of Hät ran dry over the last years. I for my part won't miss them much...
All this combined means that there is now room for one or two other manufacturers at this rather small market.
The only 1/72 companies still delivering acceptable figures regulary are Caesar, Strelets, Waterloo1815 and the RedBox/Haron/Orion/DDS/UltimaRatio-conglomerate.

I wish Pegasus, Preiser and Emhar would produce a lot more.
Or the "big 3" and Imex would return to 1/72... ;-)

I wish RedBox would retool and reissue all their old Japanese sets to the standard of their more recent releases! (If Strelets could do it with their Smurfs/Dacians...)

Yes, the sculpting looks good and the proportions of the masters are realistic, not too chunky as sometimes. Let's hope that the figures look as good when they finally leave the mould!

They look really nice , but they have no Ass ( sorry , i don`t know another word )
Can anyone translate that for me ?
Das Becken gefällt mir nicht , die Figuren sind da zu schmal . Kein Hohlkreuz
Cheers

Andreas doesn't like the proportions of the pelvis. He thinks the shown masters are too slender in that area. They show no natural "hollow back" (hope that's the right term, never used it myself before).

Although I think I know what he means, I still like this slimmer sculpting style a good deal better than the much more chunkier figures Strelets used to do in the past.

@Andreas, some more or less appropriate english expressions for "Hintern", for example, are: buttocks, bottom, butt, bum, behind, backside, ... :P ;-)

I think th problem will be the spears. They are too thick an will be casted together with the figure in one piece. On some figs they won´t be easy to remove. But I like the figures themselves very much. Hope I will still like them when casted...

Andreas is right of course. At these pics these men look like anorexiliaries. But are we sure the format of the pictures is right?: it looks like the images are squeezed for about 25% from the sides like we often see in youtube movies.
If that is the case only the heads and the spears are too thick.

And it is worth to compare these figures to the standing Hät Auxiliaries: the one single standing non action figure in the Hät box has the same slim proportions as this one. Same sculptor? Or influenced by the Hät one?

Apart from all this: this set is much appreciated by me anyhow.
Because Auxiliaries did not much else except stand, wait and guard the border forts for most of their service years.

I think the same.
If they keep this style for my interested timeline on Strelets get interesting for me too.
