The czech manufacturer Dusek, best known for their maritime orientated models, released a set of 18th/early19th century Sailors.

36 useful & lively looking resin figures in many different poses.

Will be well worth watching if Dusek will pursue this expansion of their product range with possibly more sets to follow.

That’s imo a comparatively very reasonable price indeed.

Most resin manufacturers ask way more per figure in general, 3,- Euros and more... .

That’s very cheap for so much in resin.

I could not resist to order it.
Arrived in a HUGE box.
Inside packaged in a small wallpaper box in a Zip bag.

You get a lot of figures for your money.
Details definitely are on the softer side.
Good for my painting skills.
I like that three young boys are included.
Several pose are the same by changing only the head.
And some pose are simply mirrored.









And I am pretty sure by the time the figures will find there way into my Dio`s.
The pose are different to several soldier pose I own.

What period are these figures? Napoleonic? Is a comparison possible with the Hat sailors?

I like the look of these, good working poses and I think they will work well for Napoleonic sailors.

I thought there were a few too many figures sitting on the deck but now I realise that they are probably bending over a yard reefing sail, which is excellent.
