1/72 Michael Strogoff, the courier of the Tsar

Posted by Taipeh on 24 Apr 2018, 09:17

Hello,

some time ago my friend Erik Trauner sculpted his fantastic range of wolves. When I hold them in my hands I thought about it, in which Diorama I would like to build this. My idea is from the novel of Jules Verne. The Courier of the Tsar on his way to Irkutzk with his Leader Nadja in a Russian Troika sledge. The followers could be a crowd of wolves (NIK-ANI 014) or a Group of Tartar riders.
Michael is firing with his pistol to the followers, while Nadja is reloading a pistol. The set come with 3 horses in Russian Troika, the sledge, 3 figure and lasercut reins.
The complete Diorama with trees, wolves etc. is build from Michel Vogt.

A charming idea! And a really nice ensemble. The diorama of Michel is of course the finest advertising for this nice set... :yeah:

Wonderful! This frozen scene is very impressive, and the wolves are particularly well painted.
