Speira Carthaginian War Elephant

Posted by Traveller1865 on 10 Feb 2019, 10:14

The next in our line of ancient war elephants is perhaps the most famous of all; Hannibal's African War Elephant of Carthage. A mahout will be included but not finished yet, it will also come with separate arrow and javelin quivers to be placed on or inside the tower.

The elephant is really wonderfull again, Amos.

Only the pose of the mahout looks a bit strange to me. Reminds me of:

But you have written it is not finalised, yet?

Keep up the great work, the next order will come... ;-)

Also if you're on a budget, or want to portray elephants on the march when towers may not have been needed, then here is the naked elephant without accessories, allowing you some freedom to customize it.

Today we present the crew for Carthaginian elephant, there's room for about 3 figures, but typically it's believed the tower held two men. Here we show the tower with both 2 and 3 crewmen.
