How strange, yes he does appear to be wearing boots!

These mini-sets from Zvezda are usually nicely composed, but I have mixed feelings about them. Useable for specialists, but I'd rather see Zvezda bringing out some more of their 'proper sized' sets...maybe one day??

This seems to be a first look on the upcoming zvezda US Infantry. 5 figures in 4 Poses, all are advancing and include an officer and a bazooka.

I bought their set of Samurai archer one Samurai archer bow got broken so the plastic on weapon is delicate and easy to break...Beside that figures have great detail...

Looks very nice, but compared to existing sets, what does it bring? The minisets are way over-priced

And I must say, I find the poses very stiff. Not as good as other minisets. And not as good as existing ones.

Well, its true that the standard infantry of the respective AoT ranges are not the most attractive ones.
However, in case of this new range of US figures, I hope for more useful sets in the style of previous AoT topics (Wehrmacht & Red Army): D-Day landing scenes, sappers, medics, commanders, support weapons (MGs, mortars, sniper, AT-action), paratroopers, light & medium artillery, AT & AA guns... possibly winter troops...

The grease gun guy is of no use at all, not the least realistic at several levels, the rest are useable ,but no better than figures already available, but, if it leads to more figures on an expanded range, then great.

I have to agree with comments above, as some of the poses are poor and the detail isn't that good. It looks like Zvezda is taking steps backward.....which is sad given how good many of their sets are

Too few, too expensive, too uninteresting... hardly only good for it's own game. Come on Zvezda, come back to the old days of 50 lively figures in a box!

With this figure set and the soon to be released M4A2 (75) Sherman, Zvezda has completed this year's 1/72 announcements.



Already excited about what the coming year might bring?

The Sherman set supposedly is "snap fit, no glue required" but it is 120 parts?!

Zvezda models have little pegs that fit very tightly and must be inserted into the joined part at precisely the correct angle.

After the peg is accidentally broken during the insertion process, then it requires trimming off and gluing.

Zvezdas 1/72 vehicle range is already running for 10 or even 12 years now and seems to be quite popular and widely used.
The 28 kits released so far are all labeled as "snap fit", but this only means they can optionally be built without glue.
In the end, you get accurately dimensioned, very well detailed and interestingly engineered kits for less than 10 Euros (in Europe).
Absolutely no comparison to overly simplified and crude "quick kits" from Hät/Armourfast or PSC imho.
Can only recommend Zvezdas 1/72 vehicles.

Already looking forward to what they‘ll come up with in 2022.

I always was a fan of Zvezda figures. But these Marines just seem very slender and stiff, like sterile figures without any "life" in them. Thats a pity for Zvezda.
