:coffee: Great to see pictures of the work and photo shots of the finished mass of troops.
i also read the topic too,and i guess.......

AS TIME PASSES ONE CAN OF COURSE SMILE ABOUT SUCH THINGS

:sst: " Or even laugh!"

:coffee: So many mistakes in model figure production over the years.i personally term them all as Toys now, because a model is supposed to be that defined by the meaning of that word.
:read: "But it seems not under law."

:coffee: So companies keep churning them out after knowing full well they are wrong.

 "It`s a good job that they do not produce real cars for all you guys to cruise in, because they`d probably all have square wheels." :eh: :eh: :eh: :eh: " Oh My! That was Bumpy!"

:coffee: Italeri are the worst ever for mistakes on Napoleonic cavalry and infantry poses and Strelets marching figures nearly all sergeants with right shouldered muskets ment i threw out hundreds to aid the cause of Landfill in Britain.

 " BB,hates to see an empty hole going to waste!"

:sst: "The plastic was not recyclable!"

:cowboy: " No Pards! Not even now a days!" Said the Cowboy who in the true spirit of the Wild West always sleeps in his boots.

 " That`s because Gunnar`s Lions once ate his socks, and threw up big time gagging on his boots!"

:coffee: To aid my build up of Massive French Formations.i ordered lots of the marching poses only to find the wrong figures were packed in the boxes. Price Wise A bitter Bullet to Bite.

:sst: "But much better than chewing on those boots BB".

:coffee: " You`re Darn Right There!" :-D BB

But sorry, guys: I think HäT boosted the world of figures. If they had not started with a lot off sets for so many periods and different nations and units, Our hobby would not be the same. I started collecting and painting again when Harris started to produce a lot of sets. And ok the quality was not the best in the beginning, but they became better and better. It is the same with Strelets actually. But that is only my humble opinion.

i agree Jan,they have improved greatly______apart from the rubber they still use.
i for one would be prepared to pay more if they used the plastic they use on their 28mm range of figures.
It was back in 2008 when the mix up of figures occurred, and that range of figures are beautiful, and i have masses of them now. i still buy lots of stuff from Hat Industries including Armourfast products which i do believe they also own. BB

Speaking of which, what's going on with them? Haven't seen anything new from them for a while now and their forum is still down.

Hat do not own Armourfast. They are a separate company that worked with Hat when Hat wanted some models made.

The Armourfast forum suffered a lot of problems with spam members, the mods got on top of that, then there were family issues. All of that plus the fact that Armourfast is a sideline not their main business has meant that things have slowed and the forum has not been brought back up.
