Rusia 1941,1/72 scale.

Hello fellow modellers, I have started a job with great enthusiasm on a scale that I have always liked but I haven't worked in a while.
It all started when on a visit to a collector's market I found a Dragon Models model at a very good price and that was the perfect excuse to take it home... I had been wanting to do something at 1/72 for a long time because that was my beginning in modeling so a small scene developed in Russia during the summer/autumn campaign of 1941.
At the moment I have the sketch of the scene and the assembly and base color of the Pz IV D.




I am excited because this will be the first of several jobs that I have in mind.

Well friends, after going through this scene a few times I already have the most difficult thing....the idea.
Now that I have a few days free and the idea is in my head, I'm going to see if I make progress.

Hello Santi,
my feeling is that the tanks are already "too old" for the Barbarossa attack. If I see correctly, you have variants of Panzer I and some undefined to me, but also very early. These were already outdated during the France invasion and were certainly not an important element for attack of the Soviet Union.
Also, the tankists wear rather late war frocks and caskets - I may be wrong here, not an expert (in early war they wore a type of beret). You could have chosen a house more typical for Ukraïna, although you choice is certainly not wrong.
Anyway, knowing your modelling skills it will turn out wonderful for sure.

I have to agree with Michael Robert, the Befehlspanzer I can still go through . The main battle tank I can no longer. I would
the figures of Orion Nr 72058 German Tank crew 1939-40 to these vehicles. In the Polish campaign these uniforms were worn and the house would also work. The figures you show are for the late war. You can also convert figures with the heads from the set 72058, so you get a larger selection. I have this set and am delighted with the detailing.
