June 2011 / FIGZ 2011

Posted by Benno on 16 Jan 2011, 23:04

We're holding its very first miniatures event called FIGZ, on June 4th 2011 in Goor (The Netherlands)! :-D FIGZ will be a continuation of the past Meeting Kampen events (organised by Martin Ederveen). Martin is very busy at the moment so me and my dad offered to take the trouble of organising the event. And so FIGZ got started!

The event is for miniatures scale 1/72nd and smaller. So anything 1/72nd scale and smaller is welcome (figures/tanks/airplanes/wargames/dioramas/etc etc). I made a simple webpage where you can subscribe to our newsletter and get in touch with us! The full website with more info will be launched shortly. ;-)

So far we've got two dioramas, two shops and two wargames planned. We're looking for more people who want to participate to FIGZ. If you have something that's 1/72nd scale or smaller, please get in touch with us at our e-mail adress: info@figz.nl.

The FIGZ website:

German language
English language

Edit: no competition this time?

It's easy to get there by train. You have to go from Leeuwarden to Zwolle, from Zwolle to Zutphen and from Zuthpen to Goor. About 2 hours and 15 minutes by train.

There might be a competition. The list of activities isn't complete yet. :-)

Whose up for hosting a Future type wargame with the usual plasitc bods?
Skirmish rules etc.
Nothing massive...about 20 odd bods or so each side, maybe a couple of APC´s.
Maybe with an urban setting.
